1. Raw material control
Material selection: Choose the appropriate aluminum alloy grade (such as 6061, 7075, etc.) based on the intended use of the forging.
Chemical composition testing: By using spectral analysis and other methods, ensure that the raw material composition meets the standards.
Surface quality inspection: Check the surface of raw materials for defects such as cracks, bubbles, inclusions, etc.
2. Forging process control
Heating temperature control: Ensure that the heating temperature of the aluminum billet is uniform, avoiding overheating or insufficient heating.
Forging deformation control: Reasonably design forging process parameters to ensure dense internal structure of forgings.
Mold design and maintenance: Optimize mold design, regularly maintain molds, and avoid forging defects caused by mold wear.
3. Heat treatment control
Solution treatment: Ensure that alloy elements are fully dissolved and improve the strength of forgings.
Aging treatment: Control the aging temperature and time to ensure that the forgings achieve optimal mechanical properties.
Cooling rate control: Avoid uneven organization caused by too fast or too slow cooling.
4. Surface treatment control
Surface cleaning: Remove oxide scale, oil stains, etc. from the surface of forgings.
Surface treatment processes, such as anodizing, electrophoretic coating, etc., ensure that the surface treatment quality meets the requirements.
